There would be no Horizon Enterprises nor the City-State of Anchorage of today, without the genius mind of Jeff Brent.  From a college dorm room he developed the facial recognition software SEE.  After selling his technology to security firms around the world, Horizon was born...

 

In an attempt to strengthen and speed up his own algorithm, he created SEEK: the fastest search engine in history, customizable by its own users. Two years later, Horizon launched the LOOK application for smartphones. Thus utilizing its camera to recognize and search for anything that a cell phone can capture.

 

Despite multiple lawsuits and years in court with the US government, Horizon never stopped it's forward thinking philosophy. Millions of dollars were invested into sustainable energy projects in our original home state of California. Jeff Brent even became the representative for California during the formation of the American Union.

 

When the conflict between the AU and USA began to escalate, Horizon decided to release our most ambitious application yet, FIND.  A transparency software that decrypts information on the web. Everything online was now accessible by all for the first time.

 

As Horizon became a global conglomerate, we absorbed multiple companies into our network; including the cutting-edge firm MINX. Owned and operated by another great mind, Grayson Minx; he developed high-performing and affordable nanoprocessors.

Mr. Minx was soon brought into the fold by Jeff Brent, being promoted to CTO. Grayson then encouraged the boldest move in the company's history, as we moved all of Horizon’s facilities to Anchorage, Alaska.

 

He also facilitated the acquisition of other biotech companies and genetic engineering firms. Mr. Minx made it a point to recruit the brightest minds in every field of technology. Upon the wishes of our founder Jeff Brent, after losing his battle to cancer, Grayson Minx was anointed as the company's new CEO.

 

Horizon grew even more innovative under Mr. Minx’s leadership. Ten years after the disbandment of the United States; Horizon has overseen the maintenance, governance, and success of Alaska's sole City-State. Anchorage has become one of the only self-sustaining safe havens in a world wrecked by climate change. In time, Horizon plans to spread its knowledge to help revitalize other societies and heal our world...
